Yup, it was that the mode was set to IDE. I set it to AHCI in the BIOS, and installation continued without a hitch.

Currently reinstalling RTM Windows 7. I also hooked it up through my USB Capture Card so I can monitor it via OBS Studio.

The worst part? I completely wiped my USB I installed the RTM release of Windows 7 on, thanks to Rufus, so I need to put RTM back on there.

I realized I shut the laptop off in the middle of installing Service Pack 1, so it won't boot anymore. It tries to boot, but bluescreens.

@Vixen80 Yeah, I installed the RTM release of Windows 7. Drivers worked on it perfectly. Except the AHCI driver. Maybe I had it set to IDE.

Last night, I just installed Windows 7 on a 2011 laptop. No, not Service Pack 1. I wanted to go with a 2010 Windows 7 experience.
