Blips is not Twitter. Blips will never be Twitter, and that's a good thing. Isn't it? Shouldn't we actively NOT try to present ourselves like Twitter and instead come up with our own unique identity, regardless of what the layout is meant to be? C'mon now.

I do like the idea of us having a specific animal to define the site, similar to Twitter's original bird; but I do not think we should just ape Twitter's bird graphic. Let it rest and let's have our own unique identity, alright?
