@Marcus theres a reason why, windows 8 & 8.1 was made to run on the crappiest of machines so its very optimized, i wish microsoft still had that mindset for windows

@Cazzy if it natively runs vista then theres a high chance that the drivers will support XP, i learned that after i installed XP on my Toshiba Satellite L305-S5919 that runs vista
