So I left the initial sequence like that until the final cosplay drafts, only doing a few touch-ups here and there before uploading it. Apparently, certain responses said it "looks like a storyboard sequence" or "mysterious character reveal panel"... 3.8/β

β¦ of these selfies and cropping/adjusting a lot while testing it out. When I paused to take a good look at the overall sequence of photos (Makima's chest with a peek of her braid + lips and chin + her eyes), turns out they all worked so well already! 3.7/β

Additional filters, refinements, etc. and there you have it: the triptych format of my Makima selfies. BTW, the order of these photos were NOT intentional at all: I just randomly put them together first because I was figuring out the fitting sizes... 3.6/β

β¦ photos look cheap or casual if the pictures are put together + edited inaccurately)---I liked how the triptych looked, even when it was still in its initial/unprocessed stages. So I went along with that idea instead and discarded the other designs. 3.5/β

Other layout designs were okay, but when I got the idea of splitting everything into three panels--even though I was not expecting anything at first because doing cosplay grids CAN be tricky depending on how you make it (might make the cosplay... 3.4/β

β¦ experimented with other layouts. I made 4 different layout designs for the 2 selfies, initially expecting to make 6-8 more because I was not really strictly limiting myself in these. I just wanted to see what could possibly work and what would not. 3.3/β

The selfie-taking process went smoothly---smoother than the previous picture-taking for the close-up Makima shot, actually! Could be because I familiarized and practiced her facial expressions a lot already? Now before the triptych format, already... 3.2/β

Now for those selfies including half of Makima's usual outfit, I took fewer selfies---I think around 10 or 11? Again, most are deleted now. I chose 4 selfies, then proceeded to work on only 2 pictures... which I used bits and pieces of in this part. 3.1/β

Of course, these test run drafts are different from the actual Makima cosplays I might do come who knows when (who knows indeed~?). I see a lot of room---and time---for improvement still. 2.2/β PS. Will do PART 3 later! Off to walk/jog, then sleep hehe. β£οΈ

β¦ overall; cannot stand wearing them long haha (this is only the 2nd time I wore contact lens my entire life, hence the discomfort/sensitivity :). A pleasant surprise that the test run selfie still "captures Makima's aura", as others have said. β₯οΈβ₯οΈ 2.1/β

Also "clicked" for me WHY during the tour, the 2 tiniest junk gacha toys/keychains with the shortest height + circular eyes + pouty plus sign-like mouth were associated with/referred to me LMAOOO. Thought it was just because of my height then... XDD 1.11/β
