@Za1az That's the first time I've heard "gut ist" to be a negative imperative phrase. When I wrote to Marcus, I said "I hope everything is well with you", but it's surprising to learn that "gut is" can have a different meaning as well.

@Marcus Viel Glück! German can seem complicated and overhwelming at times but seeing as English and German are both Germanic languages and thus related, you'll find many cognates and similarities between the two.

I've got a splinter in my left heel and it's been driving me insane all day. I might have to soften the skin by way of a DIY footbath where I'll put the foot into a bucket of mid-temperate hot water and green soap in it and then try to squeeze it out.

@Marcus That's how we write the date here in Norway and elswhere in Europe. I always have to take a second look and think for a second when I see it written the American way haha. The European way definitely makes way more sense.

@Marcus I was a coffee drinker for the longest time but I've cut down on it due to my weight and cholesterol. It's paying off and I definitely feel that tea is a healthier option.

Drinking blackcurrant tea from Twinings on this fine Saturday morning. It's good but I wish they'd made the blackcurrant flavor stronger, it's a bit weak imo.

Today was also supposed to be the day when I was gonna watch "Red, White & Royal Blue" on Amazon Prime, a movie I've been excited for. Can't do that now without wifi...FML! :(

My wifi completely disappeared last night and it's still not back. I really hate when this happens but I guess for now, it's hotspotting from my phone for a day or two until the wifi returns.

Took my little nephew to see the local goats in this mountain village like I was told to do earlier, so now I have eased my conscience and the guilt isn't there anymore :)

Made it to the cabin and now I'm 1 1/2 glass into some wonderful Aperol before we have meat fondue later. If it hadn't been for work duties on Tuesday next week, I'd easily stay up here longer than three days.
