@Fennec - (2/2) the "modern" look came in style & everything became so grey & dull because it was "Sleek" & those metaphors just ended up a reality. if the world was as colorful as the 90s & 00s were, i think id find adulthood at least a bit more tolerable

@Fennec the 2000s were magical looking back at it, at least from my childhood perspective of the world. everything was so colorful & inviting. i thought the TV shows were just being metaphorical to depict adulthood with dull & grey colors, but then (1/2) -

it was nice when the internet was just fun & not this essential piece in daily life. as great as the internet is for a lot of things, i also miss the ability to truly & fully disconnect without any guilt or consequence behind it

but yeah sometimes i like to pretend its the early 2000s & just disconnect from all my modern tech & engage in stuff thats either from my childhood or that i wish i had during my childhood. its nice to get away from the chaos that is the modern world
