@xeviant They were banned for being spammy and transphobic. I remember one account saying something like "[slur for trans people] cannot code". I thought that statement was complete bogus when I immediately thought of Lyra Rebane (aka Rebane2001).

@lilianalovesYOU And eventually we were able to have our own as well, except it was in a time when the internet turned to shit. Did our older peers leave a lasting impression on us when we were younger and then repeated it when it was our turn? Probably.

@lilianalovesYOU Pretty sure everyone hated Google+ back then. Also I think the "everyone wants to be on their dang phones" thing did exist back in the early 2010s, mainly with Facebook and Twitter and some other shit.

@tidaljames Yeah and all those accounts are gone now. I'm not sure if they deleted all their accounts or the moderation suddenly got better tenfold but either way that's a good thing. They were also really transphobic from what I've seen.
